Through a series of individual and group activities, community members will share their thoughts on Murrieta now and what they hope to see in the future. Children and teenagers are welcome.

About the General Plan

The Murrieta General Plan will shape private development and public infrastructure for the next 25 years.  The City is undertaking a comprehensive update of the General Plan to ensure that land use decisions and other City policies help achieve the City Council’s vision of Murrieta as a diversified business hub for the region.  This important document can create a foundation for Murrieta’s future economic prosperity. 

Topics addressed in the General Plan Update will include land use, economic development, transportation, resource conservation, recreation, open space, air quality, noise, water infrastructure, safety, and health.
